Rolls-Royce<\/a>\u00a0enters into the world of fully-electric cars with the Spectre (as it’s officially named), a masterpiece described as \u201cperfectly noiseless and clean\u201d and having \u201cno smell or vibration\u201d. This launch marks the beginning of a new all-electric era for Rolls-Royce (an era that\u2019s set to see the brand go fully electric by 2030).

Drawing inspiration from worlds far beyond automotive but within the Luxury universe \u2013 including haute couture, modernist sculpture, nautical design, tailoring, and contemporary art \u2013 the Spectre\u2019s unique look saw creatives drawn to modern yacht concepts, precisely the clarity and precision of line, intelligent use of reflection, and application of taper to emotionalize silhouettes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt needs to be a Rolls-Royce first,\u201d Rolls-Royce CEO\u00a0Torsten M\u00fcller-\u00d6tv\u00f6s<\/a>\u00a0said. \u201cThat means stability, brilliant quality, timeless materials, flight-on-land, silent propulsion. With a starting price tag of $413.000, the car is the most expensive EV coupe on the market and defines a new category of what Rolls calls an \u201cUltra-Luxury Electric Super Coup\u00e9.\u201d More than 300 U.S. buyers have already put down deposits for this Rolls-Royce\u2019s first electric vehicle before its launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
